8th 0f march
March 8th
It is raining outside and very cold.
The babies are in the warm house and relaxing.
Elisabeth (Vainilla) is still too insecure and scared.
She had to come to the Finca last night because
being at her fosterhome she showed everybody that she does not like cats.
Having entered the Finca she was extremely nervous-
running up and down at the fence and even trying to climb over it.
Her sister Katharina greeted her for a moment and then watched her .
And at 10 p.m. something wonderful happened:
Elisabeth had the courage to enter the hopuse,
went up to her sister and both cuddled.
And this morning we could even touch her.

6th of march
Yacko, Reinaldo, Kata and Angel could move to the Finca today !
Please allow me some personal words.
There are days when we are so exhausted that we think we cannot go on.
Too much pain - too much suffering.
And then something happens like for instance tonight with Catharina.
First she did not dare to enter the house.
Now she is sitting on my lap with her eyes
that tell so many terrible stories,
wags with her tails and gives us th energy to go on..

Today we took the donations to APADAC.
Dogs, cats and the APADAC Team says : THANK YOU, Germany !

3rd of march
was a very special day for APADAC and Finca Lucendum.
Ralf took 4 dogs to Germany.
At Stuttgart airport the dogs were welcomed by Tina and Conny who mad it possible that the dogs could now begin to live.
as well as Elke and her husband and Elisabeth and her children who have adopted Tara (Rebecca) and Brisa.
We want to thank everybody very much because by rehoming the dogs it is possible for us to help
other dogs that are still suffering

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
As soon as Ralf had boarded we got two telephone calls:
a truck and a sprinter had arrived in La Marina full of donations for the APADAC and Finca Lucendum dogs: blankets, cat and dog food, medication, a fridge to store the medication at APADAC
Everything was donated by German animal lovers from berlin to Munich
and everything was organized by Tina.
And on top of it there were two companies in germany that transported the donations to La Marina.
We do not know how to thank everybody involved.
